Dropouts on the ballot
Polls show that if the election were held today, no one would vote because we never hold elections on Sunday.
But if it were held tomorrow -- and it will be, partly, with advance voting all this week in Georgia -- more people probably would vote for the blue Georgia flag than for the red-barred one.
This could be a problem for folks who are sick of flags, because if this nonbinding referendum persuaded legislators to go with the blue flag, then the flag issue might never end, because that flag just looks too ugly to last...(Full Story) **Dan says: Sort of humourous in a sarasm sort of way.
