What do hot dogs and stripper poles have in common? Not a helluva lot except you’ll find both at Dion Antic’s new West Town hot dog eatery Rockstar Dogs. Besides the autographed guitars, photos of musicians, and rock-star hours (open until 4 a.m. for the hammered, hungry, and pole-ready), it’s got 18 different dogs named after famous bands and rockers. How about a ft-long Tommy Lee or chili cheese-masked KISS dog? Or our fave: the psychedelic Flaming Lip (cheddar and grilled jalapeño). RD gets eco-points for a delivery car that runs on biodiesel straight from the kitchen’s French fry fryer, recycled napkins, low-VOC paint, and zero Styrofoam. Hot diggity dog. |
