Small Changes Add Up
If 10,000 Chicago Biters bike 10 mi per week (to and from work, for errands, to the bar), in a year we'll keep the weight of more than two Bean sculptures in CO2 outta the air.

Cocktail Tidbit
Mayor Daley created Sadhu’s position in 2007, the first of its kind in the country, to oversee a city-wide environmental agenda.

The Bite
Lookin’ for a sweet mixer with some bite? Take a (triple) sec and sip on this: Chicago Green Drinks’ annual Green Town Hall Meeting. Join Sadhu Johnston, Mayor D’s Chief Environmental Officer, at neighborhood pub Jefferson Tap tomorrow night for a look at what’s up with everything from green homes to bike lanes in Chicago, followed by open Q&A (How ’bout free organic beer day? Monthly?). If it’s anything like other popular Green Drinks, expect standing room only and a crowd that mixes equal parts green newbies and industry types, plus a dash of Second City ’tude. Quite a cocktail.

Wanna Try?
Green Drinks Green Town Hall Meeting; Apr. 22, doors open 5:30 p.m. and presentation starts 6:45 p.m.; Jefferson Tap & Grille, 325 N. Jefferson at Wayman St. Donation, $5.
