BITER MARGARITA RECIPE Tequila Mockingbird If 10,000 Biters mix up two pitchers of DIY organic margaritas instead of using a bottle of conventional mixer, we'll keep the environment from downing 26 shot glasses in pesticides. Where's the Cinco de Mayo party at(ticus)? Just (F)inches away from the made-from-scratch organic margaritas. They'll liven up your fiesta in a way that's healthier for you and the planet. Classic.
Biter Margarita
Serves 1
Ingredients:
(local and organic whenever possible)
• 2 oz Casa Noble certified organic tequila
• 1.5 oz Madhava Light Agave Nectar (liquid sweetness tapped from the agave cactus)
• 1 oz organic lime juice (get limes from your local farmers market)
• Splash of club soda (make your own and avoid the plastic bottles)
• Organic sugar or salt
Directions:
Rub the rim of your recycled margarita glass with lime juice, and dip it in sugar or salt. Put the rest of the ingredients in a mixer and shake 'em up, then pour straight into glasses or over ice.
Feelin' lazy?
- Modmix Citrus Margarita - sweet orange and pungent lime blended together - just add tequila; 100% organic ($13/750 milliliters).
To Kill a Mockingbird author Harper Lee was so impressed with Gregory Peck in the film adaptation, she gave him her deceased father's pocket watch. When Peck later admitted to Lee that he'd lost it, she said, "Well, it's only a watch." SPONSOR
