Illinois PIRG
Hi Daniel,
Tell the gubernatorial candidates to support high-speed rail.
The gubernatorial election is only four weeks away! The next governor will have a big role in determining the future of high-speed rail and public transportation in Illinois. [1]
Please sign our petition to the Illinois gubernatorial candidates and let them know that you want them to support investments in modern, 21st century transportation.
We want to make sure that Illinois sees the full benefits of high-speed rail, including a boost in our economy, reduced traffic on highways and in airports, decreased dependence on oil, and a healthier environment. [2]
But it won’t happen if we don’t ask for it. Please let the Illinois gubernatorial candidates know right now that you want them to support investments in high-speed rail and public transportation.
Sincerely,
Brian Imus
Illinois PIRG State Director
