Hello to all my petition signers out there, Ashley Williams here again! I wanted to deliver an update regarding the Aramoni LLC annexation hearing for the proposed frac sand mine in North Utica known as Ancell Sands.

I included two links below from The Times and News Tribune documenting Wednesday's hearing. First and foremost, I must extend a special thank you to Dr. Crispin Pierce and Dr. Ron Koshoshek for coming all the way from Wisconsin to testify before the Village Board on Wednesday. Though no decision has yet been reached, we are certainly not forfeiting to Aramoni anytime soon! We will keep fighting to preserve the health and well being of the community for as long as it takes! The hearing will reconvene on Tuesday, January 28th at 6 pm at Grand Bear Lodge for a fifth night. First on the agenda is the rebuttal from the petitioner, followed by closing arguments from each side's attorney. Furthermore, thank you to everyone that came out for the hearing. I am deeply grateful for all the love and support that you have provided to our cause to stop the proliferation of frac sand mining in LaSalle County.
