Urge Congress to fund sustainable agriculture research to find lasting solutions to farming challenges.

Can Monsanto conquer the Superweeds?

Tune in to this summer's newest superhero saga and then take action to support the true heroes of modern agriculture.

ACTION ALERT
A Real Superhero for Agriculture's Challenges

Dear Daniel,

It's an age-old battle: farmer versus the villainous weed. For as long as we've tried to grow our own food in the soil, weeds have tried to thwart us. Today, the problem has reached true crisis proportions, while taking on a scary new twist.

Two decades ago, Monsanto introduced a superhero that was supposed to save the day for farmers once and for all—the Roundup Ready system. Roundup Ready seeds were genetically engineered to tolerate Monsanto's herbicide, Roundup.

But the weeds came back stronger than ever and revealed this superhero's fatal flaw…

Watch our video to learn more and take action to support the true heroes who stand ready to come to the rescue.

Take Action

Sincerely,
Jenn Yates

Apple act Different. Donate today to support fair labor rights!
Dear Daniel Stafford,
Donate today to end smartphone sweatshops!
Ever notice how shiny the screen is on a new iPhone?

It looks so perfect because a worker was forced to use n-hexane or other dangerous chemicals to polish it. N-hexane is a toxic chemical carefully regulated in U.S. workplaces because exposure can lead to severe nerve damage.

But in China, Apple is turning a blind eye to the reckless use of toxic chemicals in factories — exposing young workers to severe health effects such as leukemia, lymphoma, cancer, nerve damage, and reproductive complications.

Do you know the saddest part?

Switching to a safer chemical alternative would cost Apple as little as a $1 per iPhone.

A minuscle sum for a company that generated profits over $37 billion last year.

So on Friday, when we held our first public protest at the Apple store in NYC, we were amused by the company's newest slogan, "You are more powerful than you think."

I couldn't have said it better!

You have the power to demand Apple clean up its act! Donate today to end smartphone sweatshops.

Apple has kept this shameful conduct hidden, but filmmakers Heather White & Lynn Zhang show the hard truth about safety abuses at electronics factories in China in their documentary, Who Pays the Price? The Human Cost of Electronics. You can watch this shocking documentary at Bad-Apple.org.

Please make a donation to protect workers in electronics factories today!

"6" @ TRIBECA

We hosted a special one-time only Work in Progress screening of the film at the Tribeca Film Festival last Friday to a sold out house and a standing ovation. Some fans said "6," which will be finished this fall, is better than "The Cove." If you were at the screening we'd love to hear your feedback via our survey.
