N-hexane is a toxic chemical carefully regulated in U.S. workplaces because exposure can lead to severe nerve damage. But in China, Apple is turning a blind eye to the reckless use of toxic chemicals in factories — exposing young workers to severe health effects such as leukemia, lymphoma, cancer, nerve damage, and reproductive complications.
