Report: Europe to add 140 GW of installed wind capacity by 2025
Europe is poised to add 140 gigawatts of installed wind capacity through 2025, according to research firm MAKE. The report said Germany would likely lead the pack with 36 GW of new installed wind capacity, followed by the UK and Turkey at 15.7 GW and 13.5 GW, respectively.

Falvez Energy has secured financing for its Falvez Astra wind farm in Texas, which will have a total capacity of 163 megawatts, according to the company. The project is expected to use 68 General Electric 2.4-MW 107 turbines.

EDP Renewables North America has arranged $342 million in financing from two undisclosed lenders for a pair of wind farms in the US. The deal includes the 250-megawatt Hidalgo wind farm in Texas and the 78-MW Jericho project in New York.

Mainstream Renewable, GE to partner on wind project in Vietnam
Mainstream Renewable Power and General Electric will invest $1.5 billion to expand Vietnam's wind industry, according to the companies.
