Avangrid wins approval to use longer blades at Ore. siteAvangrid Renewables has been awarded a site-certificate amendment that would allow it the flexibility to use up to 3.6-megawatt turbines with rotor diameters of 136 meters at its Montague Wind Power Facility in Oregon, said the company. The turbines could be the largest of their kind in the Pacific Northwest.
