Cross-country march for peace reaches Porterville

Jonathan Meier must be light on his feet. The 21-year-old activist has walked across America and only worn out a single pair of shoes. And the Merrill high-tops he's wearing - the second pair he's used since leaving Portland, Maine, and hoofing it some 3,200 miles through 24 states - still have plenty of tread. Meier's cross-country trek in support of dark horse Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich led him through Porterville Tuesday.
