Launching the Next Phase of Our Movement at Power Shift

Friends:

We've been working hard to prepare for Power Shift 2013 in Pittsburgh this fall, and now the lineup is really coming together. Today we've got both an exciting announcement and an extra special deal:

On Sunday, October 20th, Bill McKibben and friends will present a special keynote that will launch the next phase of the Keystone XL fight!

We've just confirmed Bill's keynote, and we're super excited. This is going to be so much more than a talk: Bill will be joined by amazing leaders from across the movement, and the evening will include musical guests, multimedia, and more. We'll talk about how far the fight to stop Keystone XL has come, how it's tied to fossil fuel divestment and the larger movement for climate justice, and where we all go from here. Think last year's Do the Math tour, but with a focus on Keystone -- and with an audience of 10,000 activists! Will you be there with us?

Click here to register for Power Shift 2013: 350.org/powershift2013

If you register today or tomorrow, use the code "BFF" for a reduced price of $50. Seriously, that's a really good deal -- make all your BFF's register too!

We've come a long way in the past year. How far? Check out this great new video from student filmmaker and activist Alex Leff:

Power Shift 2013 is going to be an amazing gathering of folks from around the country. There will be mountain top removal fighters from West Virginia, fracktivists from Pennsylvania, pipeline blockaders from Texas, divestment campaigners from California, and dream defenders from Florida. We're one movement, and this is our chance to act like one.

Power Shift is for young changemakers -- and for the young at heart. All of you are welcome, and we really hope you can join us in Pittsburgh.

See you there,

Janina

PS. We know some of you have heard a lot from us about Power Shift already, but may still be on the fence. Want to talk about it? We're here to answer any and all questions, so let us know if you want more info: 350.org/powershiftchat
