Last week the U.S. Department of Energy launched a Web site designed to make funding your energy project just a little bit easier. The comprehensive new site offers a rundown of financial assistance programs from DOE's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE). Get the lowdown on funding opportunities for both public and private sectors. Financial assistance is big business for EERE -- in fiscal year 2004 alone the office handed out about $506 million.
