The United States Senate is asleep at the wheel as we careen out of control toward devastating climate change -- and it's time to wake up! So tonight, more than 20 of my colleagues and I are going to pull an "all-nighter," speaking on the Senate floor for more than 14 hours to draw attention to the climate change threat. And we need you to stand with us. I'm proud to serve as co-chair of the new Climate Action Task Force with my friend Senator Sheldon Whitehouse. Along with our colleague, Senator Brian Schatz, we've organized senators to speak around the clock, from 6:30 p.m. ET tonight to at least 9 a.m. ET Tuesday morning. Together, we must lay out the facts behind climate change and try to wake up Congress before it's too late.
