KUCINICH HOPES TO INFLUENCE DEMOCRATIC PLATFORM
Maine's Democratic party welcomed a presidential candidate to their convention this weekend. No, not John Kerry... Dennis Kucinich.
Kucinich said he knows he can't win the Democratic nomination, and he will drop out once Kerry becomes the nominee.
But he said there's still time to influence the Democratic party platform, and he wants the party to support universal health care, the end of NAFTA, and an immediate withdrawl of troops from Iraq.
