Opinion: Trump, Pence underestimate economic value of clean energy jobs
President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence don't understand the importance of clean energy jobs to the nation's economy, argues Jim Marston, Environmental Defense Fund vice president of clean energy and Texas regional office director. "Across the country, in red states and blue, Americans want the next generation of job growth to come from technologies and industries that create local jobs and keep our communities clean and healthy," he writes.

"As a state, we can embrace a cleaner energy source and help communities and businesses create jobs to build a sustainable energy future," said Green Energy Ohio Executive Director Bill Spratley.

Opinion: Ohio economy could benefit from renewable energy growth
Renewables like wind and solar could be a boon to Ohio's economy, providing rural farmers and landowners with a much-needed source of revenue, writes Jerry Zielke, director of Paulding County Economic Development.
