EDF Renewable, Alliant to develop 200-MW project in Iowa
EDF Renewable Energy and Alliant Energy have unveiled plans for a new 200-megawatt project in Iowa that the companies say supports Alliant's long-term plans to add more than 1-gigawatt of new installed wind capacity in the state. "The project will also provide an economic boost to the Iowa economy, through new construction and operations jobs, expanded tax base and recurring, long-term income for participating landowners," says EDF Vice President of Development for the North Region Kate O'Hair.
