Report: North American wind O&M spending to hit $8.3B by 2027
Wind-related operations and maintenance spending in the US and Canada is expected to increase almost 40% to $8.3 billion annually by 2027, up from today's $6 billion, says IHS Markit. The report attributes the increase to aging turbines in the US and Canada.

Report: Thanks to states, US is on track for Paris climate goals
The Trump administration may have pulled the US from the Paris climate accord, but the US is still on track to meet those targets thanks to the actions of cities and states, says Bloomberg Philanthropies. The report says the US could bring its emissions 17% below 2005 levels by 2025 if some 3,000 carbon pledges made by cities, states and businesses are met.
