Nothing simple about nature

Just when we think we've got something figured out, another idea comes along that turns our preconceived notions upside down. Mississippi River traffic jam grows
Bad weather may delay removal of a sunken supply vessel on Tuesday from a channel of the Mississippi River, extending a traffic jam of ocean-going ships in the river and Gulf of Mexico, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.

US Fish & Wildlife testing hatchery-raised fish for pollutants
The Northeast region of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is testing its hatchery-raised salmon and other fish for dioxin and other pollutants because of fears they could be picking up contaminants from commonly used feeds.
