ORGANIC, LOCALLY GROWN FLOWERS Flower Child![]()
If 10,000 Chicago Biters buy an organic instead of conventionally grown bouquet for their moms this month, we'll keep the weight of 74 hippies in pesticide-laden flowers off our land.

Wanna give Mom something she'll be psyched(elic) about? Larkspur's got the buds. Owner Beth Barnett grows 53 kinds of organic bloomers on her MI farm - fragrant peonies (May), allergy-tame pink and white "candy cane" zinnias (June), and pumpkin orange "torch" sunflowers (August). Also: cheap vintage vases, locally made candles, and recycled-glass hummingbird feeders. It'll deliver locally or you can take CTA to the Damen Blue Line stop - it's not too far out.
