N.D. House rejects energy study bill
The North Dakota House of Representatives voted 77-13 against an amended bill on Monday that would have required a long-term study into the state's energy sector. Observers said the measure contained an amendment that would have hindered wind development in the state by requiring the Public Service Commission to consider "need" in turbine siting proposals.
