Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic, who's considering a run for Washington state lieutenant governor, introduced Kucinich, quipping that in November he's going to vote for ABA: Anybody But Another Bush.
Kucinich drew loud cheers when he said the North American Free Trade Agreement and the World Trade Organization trample on workers' rights and fail to protect the environment.
And the crowd roared and rose to its feet when he talked about universal, single-payer health care, scoffing at the skeptics who ask him how he plans to pay for it.
"We're already paying for a universal standard of care," he proclaimed. "We're just not getting it!"
