Wind energy is expanding in the US and creating well-paying jobs, especially for individuals in rural areas who want to provide a good source of income for their families while staying local, said Clyde Mustain, manager of Invenergy's Spring Canyon Wind Energy Center. "It's what I call an economy-proof job. It doesn't matter if the bottom falls out of the stock market; my job isn't going anywhere," he added.
